Location: Stockton CA

Schedule:  Varies by assignment - days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Availability:  On-call openings available now

Job Type:  Part-time | On-Call | Event and site-based assignments

Pay Frequency:  Weekly pay

About the Role

ShareSTAFF is hiring Event Staff for unarmed event and site-based assignments. You’ll maintain a visible, professional presence - monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and helping ensure a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas to maintain a secure environment
• Conduct foot patrols and observe for safety hazards or suspicious activity
• Verify identification, credentials, or access permissions as required by the assignment
• Write clear and accurate incident reports as needed
• Respond to situations calmly and follow established security procedures
• Maintain a professional and visible presence at all times
• Assist with crowd management and visitor flow during events
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and onsite staff
• Enforce site-specific guidelines and follow all legal requirements for unarmed security work

What You Bring - Required

• Valid and current California Guard Card
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods (indoor and outdoor assignments)
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Professional demeanor and ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Must pass background check and meet any assignment-specific security clearances

What You Bring - Preferred

• Previous security experience (event, patrol, or site-based)
• Customer service experience
• Experience with incident reporting and documentation
• Comfortable working around crowds or in high-traffic environments
